As an individual who has worked in Special Education for seven years, I understand the importance of a strong support system. I love working with high school and college students in particular, and I enjoy figuring out the best strategies to employ with each individual student. Education can be a wonderful experience, but it can also be incredibly stressful. I have worked with students to develop their social and emotional skills for the past five years now, and prior to that I was an American Sign Language interpreter. I also worked at a Huntington Learning Center and currently work as an Academic Coach for Western Nevada College In these fields I have learned how to better assist students in a variety of subjects, including math, English, science, psychology, social work, and American Sign Language. I look forward to continuing down this path in better aiding our students towards a bright future.
