Hello, my name is Abby Bowen! I recently graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a B.S. in Human Ecology with a concentration in Child Life. My degree is was majorly based in child development. As an honors student in high school, I was a tutor for many of my classmates. I also was hired as a peer mentor in college and helped my younger peers with their homework, projects, and explained concepts they had trouble with. Additionally, I was a Lead Teacher at Creative Learning Daycare my sophomore year of college and worked with children ranging from infancy to school age. Lastly, I worked as an Assistant Teacher at a Head Start in Algood, TN where I worked with children ages 3-5 to reach developmental milestones and get ready for Kindergarten.
