I'm Jesse Paul, currently a PhD student in the Virginia Tech ASPECT program. I love philosophy, political theory, and mathematics.
I've taught courses at the university and high-school levels. Before teaching High-School I was a math tutor at Porter Gaud's Lyceum Tutoring Center. I've tutored algebra, algebra 2, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. I've helped students understand the unit circle and trigonometric functions, logarithmic functions, the binomial theorem, factoring, factoring quadratics, simplifying expressions, solving equations, solving simultaneous equations, modular arithmetic, and translating word problems into math speak, to name a few specific topics.
Porter Gaud is private Preparatory school in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. I taught there for two years with amazing, brilliant, and dedicated teachers.
Virginia Tech is an amazing University located in the quiet mountains of south-western Virginia.
