As the controversy of the Common Core Standards continues, teachers seem to think that parents do not understand what the standards are all about.
This is the finding of a recent study, conducted by TutaPoint during the month of September, 2014.
Respondents to the survey included veteran teachers from the northeastern U.S. The findings left little grey area: 95.5% of believed that parents do not understand what the Common Core is; 4.4% of the respondents said they weren’t sure if parents understood. None of the teachers thought that parents understood what the Common Core Standards were all about.
