What Cell Phones do Teachers Use?

During September, teachers around the northeastern United States responded to a survey conducted by TutaPoint. The respondents were veteran teachers, with 91% teaching for 10 or more years.   One of the interesting questions that we asked during the survey was "which cell phone do you use".   As it turns out, veteran teachers are up on the latest technology with 44.9% using an iPhone. Second to the iPhone was phones on the Android platform, with 26.9% of respondents on that platform.   Blackberry needs to rethink how it markets to teachers, as only 1.1% of teachers are using the once popular smartphone.   As for Windows? How Much Homework Should a High School Student Be Doing?

According to a recent survey conducted by TutaPoint, experienced teachers have a lot to say about student many hours a high school student should be doing school work outside of school.   Most of the teachers participating (91%) have over 10 years teaching experience. Math and science teachers from the northeast made up the majority of respondents.   First, a majority (61.7%) believe that 70% of learning should be done at school, leaving 30% outside of school. Teacher Survey Results Released: 2014

Experienced teachers in the northeast were surveyed in September by education firm TutaPoint. The survey, which took place from September 18 to September 25, 2014 included 25 questions. Results from this survey are listed below in categories.     Experience and Subject Areas of Teacher Respondents   Teachers included in this survey were very experienced; 91% having over 10 years of teaching experience, the remaining 9% having at least five years of experience. What Social Media Sites are High School Students Using? 2014 Report

Students are using technology to communicate, learn and entertain themselves. Which social media websites are today's high school students using? The annual TutaPoint / Admitted.ly student survey found the following: Is everyone on Facebook? Not quite; the survey reported that of the high school students that responded, 54% of them were on the social media giant Facebook. Instagram, which is also owned by Facebook, came in second with 45% of respondents indicating that they use the photo-sharing social media website. Students Report Smartphone Choices in 2014 Report

High students in the United States are evenly split on their favorite smartphone - and they have made it clear which platform they won't be on. The TutaPoint / Admitted.ly 2014 fall student survey was conducted between September 3 and September 12, 2014. Students reported that they overwhelmingly have chosen either Android or iPhone (iOS) as their smartphone. That leaves both Blackberry and Windows smartphones left out. Education technology firms TutaPoint and Admitted.ly released their annual fall student survey on September 15. Here is what U.S. high school students have to say about stress in their lives, inside and outside of school.               Of the respondents, which represented mostly high school junior and seniors, the number one reported stress was: applying to college.
